From Prada to Nada
Supposedly my friends and I will watch the movie Red Riding Hood but we ended up watching From Prada to Nada which was a great movie. It made me, Jica, Mina, Yana, Auie and Clowie shriek! (haha). That's why I'm encouraging you to watch this movie because it has a nice story and it gives you "kilig vibes".
It is starred by Camilla Belle, Alexa Vega, Wilmer Valderrama, Kuno Becker, Adrian Berraza, and directed by Fina Torres.
Synopsis: A whimsical spin on Austen’s original, From Prada to Nada follows two spoiled sisters when they are left penniless after the sudden death of their father. Forced to move in with their estranged aunt in East Los Angeles, this is a fish-out-of-water story where the girls ultimately find romance, as well as a love for their culture.

I'll Always Be A Catherinian!
Today was our last school day for the school year 2010-2011. We had our last two exams namely, Biology and Filipino. We also finished our projects specifically our "newspaper" for Journalism and presenting our declamation piece in Filipino. After that, we said our goodbyes to one another especially to our class adviser Mr. Guintivano.
I can't believe that it's the end of the school year. That when I enter the school next year, I would have new classroom, new classmates and a new class adviser. But now, I would like everyone to know that I'm from Yr. II-St. Catherine and I'm proud of it.

Welcome home to my dearest big brother, Jason Gil Burgos (he works in Libya as a nurse).
Meet my brother Jason/Jaez or Nonoy Jason as we call him. His birthday is Oct. 24 and his the eldest among as four. He's a jolly, funny and a very caring brother to us. He loves to play the guitar and he's good at drawing. He's an grade school alumni in my school which is Assumption-Iloilo. He spent his secondary education at St. Vincent Ferrer Seminary and he studied nursing in University of San Agustin.

Regina Spektor
Regina Spektor is a Russian-born American singer-songwriter and pianist.
Regina's songs are not usually autobiographical, but rather are based on scenarios and characters drawn from her imagination. Her songs show influences from folk, punk, rock, Jewish, Russian,hip hop, jazz, and classical music. She has said that she works hard to ensure that each of her songs has its own musical style, rather than trying to develop a distinctive style for her music as a whole.
Spektor has a broad vocal range and uses the full extent of it. She also explores a variety of different and somewhat unorthodox vocal techniques, such as verses composed entirely of buzzing noises made with the lips and beatbox-style flourishes in the middle of ballads, and also makes use of such unusual musical techniques as using a drum stick to tap rhythms on the body of the piano or chair.

Master Rapper
He was Filipino rapper, entrepreneur, songwriter, producer, actor, director, photographer and a father of 8.
He's very nationalistic. Almost all of his songs were about us, Filipinos. And his clothing line, FMCC, has designs like 3 Stars and A Sun which was adapted from our own flag.
I love and miss you, my idol! Hope you're still rapping and having fun there in heaven. :)

A Little Women
I'm currently reading A Little Women by Louisa Alcott. Most of my friends at school usually asks me if why I am reading it (it's for our 3rd year lesson) since I'm just in 2nd year. My reason is "boredom". Sometimes I don't have anything to do in our house that's why I decided to read the books of my sister and I got interested to A Little Women.

Tangled
Since Ms. Escare our teacher in Statistics class was absent today, our substitute facilitator, Mr. Secular allowed us to watch a movie that he downloaded from the net which is Tangled. Most of us haven't watched it yet that's why we really enjoyed it.
I really loved the movie because it's amusing, cute and it makes me feel like a child again. :)
Synopsis: After receiving the healing powers from a magical flower, the baby Princess Rapunzel is kidnapped from the palace in the middle of the night by Mother Gothel. Mother Gothel knows that the flower's magical powers are now growing within the golden hair of Rapunzel, and to stay young, she must lock Rapunzel in her hidden tower. Rapunzel is now a teenager and her hair has grown to a length of 70-feet. The beautiful Rapunzel has been in the tower her entire life, and she is curious of the outside world. One day, the bandit Flynn Rider scales the tower and is taken captive by Rapunzel. Rapunzel strikes a deal with the charming thief to act as her guide to travel to the place where the floating lights come from that she has seen every year on her birthday. Rapunzel is about to have the most exciting and magnificent journey of her life.

Ajuy trip
For our field trip, we went to Camp Regulus and Gawad Kalinga at Ajuy, Iloilo.
The objectives which really guided and helped me throughout the whole trip.
- To compare the characteristics of a modified ecosystem with a natural one.
- To experience oneness with nature through nature walk and appreciation of Creation.

BLACK SWAN
Since the first time I saw the trailer of the movie Black Swan directed by Darren Aronofsky and starring Natalie Portman, I was really excited to watch it.
Movie synopsis: Black Swan follows the story of Nina (Portman), a ballerina in a New York City ballet company whose life, like all those in her profession, is completely consumed with dance. She lives with her retired ballerina mother Erica (Hershey) who zealously supports her daughter's professional ambition. When artistic director Thomas Leroy (Cassel) decides to replace prima ballerina Beth MacIntyre (Ryder) for the opening production of their new season, Swan Lake, Nina is his first choice. But Nina has competition: a new dancer, Lily (Kunis), who impresses Leroy as well. Swan Lake requires a dancer who can play both the White Swan with innocence and grace, and the Black Swan, who represents guile and sensuality. Nina fits the White Swan role perfectly but Lily is the personification of the Black Swan. As the two young dancers expand their rivalry into a twisted friendship, Nina begins to get more in touch with her dark side with a recklessness that threatens to destroy her.

Although their are some scenes in the film that is not for young audience like me, I still appreciated it. It's very disturbing. It's worth watching. :)
