Talkin' About Our Play.

This past few weeks we've been already planning for our play presentation in CAE and CAF which will be perfomed by us on the first week of December. Sophomores are expected to present Florante at Laura for CAF play. Our section, II-St. Catherine, got the first part of the story where Florante was still a child.

For our CAE play, we are expected showcase the different cultures in Asia. Our class have decided to play Anastasia. It is a story of a Romanov family was struck by revolution on 1916, and cursed to be utterly wiped out by the vengeful sorcerer Rasputin, ex-advisor to the Tsar. The only survivors were the Dowager and her youngest granddaughter, Anastasia, but the two were separated during their escape from the palace - suffering a hard knock on the head, Anastasia loses her memory, and is taken to an orphanage with nothing but a strange necklace and the name Anya. When she is 18, "Anya" leaves the orphanage and wants to seeks her true identity in Paris. She is told that a man who resides in the old palace can help her, but when there, the man Dimitri and his friend Vladimir, who are con men, realize that Anya bears a striking resemblance to Anastasia, and decide to take her to Paris and pass her off as the princess so they can get their hands on the reward that the Dowager is offering for the finding of her granddaughter. However, Rasputin has discovered the true identity of this poor orphan girl, and wont rest until he has the head of this last Romanov, and his revenge on the family is complete. (Written by Aaliya)

We already know what to do in our plays because of their plots but our major problem are the characters who'll give life to them.

The Invasion!

I can see them ANYWHERE.
I can hear them EVERYWHERE.
People around me can't get enough with THEM.

Super Juniors, Shinee, and more. These are the popular K-Pop or Korean Pop here in the Philippines. Honestly, I don't know them I've just heard their songs. Koreanovelas are also famous here in our country namely Boys Over Flowers, Full House, He's Beautiful and more. Even their hairstyles and clothes are being followed.

Our culture is now affected by foreigners like Chinese and Americans but most especially the Koreans. That's why more and more Filipinos doesn't show support in our culture instead they show their support to other cultures by following them in the means of clothing and etc. Also, Filipinos nowadays don't speak in our native tongue already but now more Filipinos speak in other language. Filipinos also shows support to other cultures when they buy their things there.

Why are Filipinos like this? Why don't we possess true nationalism for our country?
Be nationalistic. Support our culture for the progress and betterment of country and of the world.
